If you go down to the Lanes today…
It’s no secret that Brighton’s charming cobbled streets are a treasure trove of all that is unique and desirable. Here are some of our favourites, from the city that’s never knowingly under-dressed
Gresham Blake, Brighton
Rock and roll tailoring from a man who’s practically a Brighton institution. Gresham honed his tailoring skills at Brighton University before establishing his boutique at the height of Cool Britannia in 2000. Since then he’s dressed some of our sharpest dressers, including Fatboy Slim and Plan B.

Hope & Harlequin, Brighton

Allium B, Brighton
Not strictly a boutique, but sisters Mary and Clare Burgess’ dresses (designed in Brighton) are so pretty they deserve a mention anyway. Think of their online presence as a shop window; they also run regular sales in Brighton and elsewhere. Join the mailing list to find out about dates and venues.
Pretty Eccentric, Brighton
Does what it says on the can. These quirky boutiques (both in Brighton) celebrate the great British sense of individuality, with one-of-a-kind millinery jostling for space with shape-enhancing dresses and swishy capes.
