Jennifer and Charles Clark married at St Mary's Parish Church, Newick
Jennifer Richards married Charles Clark on 2 July. The couple, who met six years ago through mutual friends, became engaged last year while on holiday in France.
Jennifer arrived at St Marys Parish Church, Newick, in her fathers Sunbeam Talbot.
After the service a riverside reception was held at the Anchor Inn at Barcombe, which provides boating along the River Ouse. Bunting made by Jennifers mother featured several black and white striped flags with blue stars, in a nod to Charles beloved Newcastle United FC. Other personal touches included the wedding favours. Jennifer made jars of pear chutney, chilli jam and sweets for the guests to take away.
The Niagara Jazz Band and Murdochs Crazy Eyes provided music and Lewes-based Laura Cullen took the photographs. Jennifers dress was by La Sposa and bought from Bride in Hassocks while Charles and his brother Ben, who was best man, hired their suits from The Man Shop in Burgess Hill. Past coverage of the wedding preparations in Sussex Life figured in the best mans speech (see picture)!
