Worthing celebrated its sixth annual Pier Day with vintage fun and frolics
A day of vintage fun and frolics was enjoyed at the sixth Worthing Pier Day.
The award winning art deco pier was decked out in recycled bunting and played host to artists, bands and vintage stalls.
Make Do & Mend, Dig for Victory and Keep Calm and Carry On were the central themes of the free family day, This years Pier Day is part street party and part bohemian festival, said Pier Day artistic director Dan Thompson of the Worthing-based Revolutionary Arts Group.
The event is created by the community, artists and local businesses coming together to celebrate all that is best about Worthing past, present and future.
