Friends, members, patrons and supporters celebrated the 75th birthday of the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill with an anniversary concert of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana, created the same year.
The performance was conducted by Stefan Bevier, sung by the 100-strong Philharmonia Chorus with soloists Louise Alder, Peretta Anggerek and Charles Rice accompanied by two grand pianos and a full percussion section from the Royal College of Music.
The 11th Earl and Countess De La Warr unveiled a commemorative plaque in front of guests who included Pavilion chair Steve Williams and his wife Sue, Vice Chair and Vice Lord Lieutenant of East Sussex Sara Stonor, Director Alan Haydon and his wife Cat Newton-Groves and other Trustees and Patrons.
Champagne flowed before the concert and over 100 guests ate a sumptuous three-course dinner in the Pavilion restaurant.
