Wildlife Guardians is a core group of supporters who share a vision for the future of nature conservation in Sussex and support the Trusts Living Landscape work.
In July, a dinner hosted by Guardians Rick Englert and Richard Taylor who live in the heart of the West Weald at Whithurst Park, Kirdford, had an after dinner speaker with a difference. Naturalist Neil Fletcher talked about the ecology and lifestyle of bats and their importance within the West Weald landscape. As darkness fell guests went outside with bat detectors to hear the bats as they flew overhead on the way to their foraging areas.
