Business people from across the county braved truly dreadful weather to attend the presentation of the 2010 Sussex Business Awards at The Grand, Brighton.
Brighton Marathon (organised by Grounded Events) was the big winner of the night, scooping two awards Leisure & Tourism and Best New Business. Lettings agency Leaders was named Sussex Company of the Year with Higgidy Pies and Brighton Institute of Modern Music both runners up although neither were to be disappointed as BIMM went on to win the Creative Industries Award and Camilla Stephens of Higgidy was named Entrepreneur of the Year.
