Guests enjoyed the official opening of a new home from home for RAF families in Rustington.
Shencot House has been refurbished by the RAF Benevolent Fund, the RAFs leading welfare charity, as a place for serving RAF families in need of an affordable break. Lady Wright, wife of Air Marshal Sir Robert Wright (Controller of the RAF Benevolent Fund), opened the house.
Sir Robert Wright said: I am delighted to see this excellent new holiday home opened today, offering first class comfort, facilities and convenience for serving RAF personnel and their families.
Anyone serving in the Royal Air Force will be able to apply for a break at Shencot House, which is a short walk to the beach with easy access to West Sussex attractions like Arundel Castle as well as Brightons vibrant arts scene.
