A SPECIAL service was held at Chichester Cathedral to celebrate the 60th wedding anniversary of the Queen and Prince Philip.


More than five hundred couples from Sussex, who were also married in 1947, gathered at the cathedral on Sunday 18th November to mark the occasion.


Music from the royal wedding ceremony was played to the congregation which included dignitaries such as the Lord Lieutenants of East and West Sussex, the Duke and Duchess of Richmond and politicians form across the county. Kate Eastman met some of the couples who took part.
