Hundreds of fans gathered in the grounds of Arundel's beautiful Cricket Club to see a match between many of the game's greats.

Former England stars such as John Snow and John Lever took part in the match organised to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC).

Another special guest was Britain's oldest man and First World War veteran Henry Allingham. Henry, aged 111 gave a well received speech thanking those present and the CWGC for their valuable work.

In glorious sunshine and under the gaze of the castle the crowds saw an Old England XI take on The Commonwealth War Graves XI and raise more than £6,000 for the Royal Commonwealth Ex-Services League. The match finished in a gentlemanly draw.
