Fundraising evening for British Heart Foundation

The British Heart Foundation raised more than £5,000 at Playdells Farm, Warninglid
The British Heart Foundation held an evening of fun, laughter, music and entertainment and raised more than 5,000 to help vital research into heart disease.
The sun came out and guests enjoyed drinks and canaps at a courtyard reception at Playdells Farm, Warninglid on a before taking their seats in the garden to watch The Rude Mechanical Theatre perform their new comic mystery play Who Saw Marjory Daw?
This extraordinary group of professional theatre actors and musicians integrate mime, acrobatics and live music into their highly entertaining show.
The event for 250 people was organised by Vanessa Bennett and Lucy Beacham and the energetic committee of the Mid Sussex Branch along with a team of 28 volunteers on the evening aged 11-70.
Chairman of the branch Simon Cartwright commented that the amazing support of the volunteers and the fact that the event had been hugely oversubscribed reflected the strong support for the British Heart Foundation and its work.
