Some of the best Christmas markets in Sussex this year

Although there are many markets not going ahead this year, there are still a few spots in Sussex you'll be able to find great local gifts
Markets still going ahead:
- West's Christmas Market, Chichester - December 11 - 12
Get all of your Christmas food and drink sorted at this market hosted at New Barn in East Dean near Chichester. It runs from 9.30am to 5.30pm.

- 1066 Christmas Market - December 13
Head to the Powdermills Hotel in Battle to find some wonderful gifts for your loved ones and help to support some great local businesses at a time when they need it most.

- Horsham Markets - December 12, 18 - 20 and 24
Taking place across multiple dates in December (see the website for details), Horsham's Christmas market offers up plenty of festive entertainment and live music along with a good range of food, drink and gifts.

- Late Night Shopping
With their usual markets not going ahead, some county locations are putting on extra dates for late night shopping. Currently Battle have a late night event on December 12 while Rye's is on the 10th and the 12th. Chichester has shops opening late on the 10th and 17th.
