Christmas is just around the corner and there is fun for all the family at Brighton Dome this season!

Kicking off next Saturday (November 24) with our annual Christmas Open Day, the most wonderful time of the year is upon us again. The Christmas Open Day will include a range of family activities including the opportunity to make your own STOMP instrument, pose in our winter wonderland photo booth for your own festive Christmas card and relax with some mulled wine and mince pies.

Brighton favourites STOMP are also back in town with The Lost and Found Orchestra - a breathtaking show that is perfect for all the family (December 20 29) . Born from the creative minds that gave us the internationally successful STOMP, The Lost and Found Orchestra is a truly spectacular symphonic experience that sees everyday objects turned into a plethora of invented instruments. Using everything from musical saws and bottles to whirly toys, traffic cones and rope ladders to create a dazzling array of homemade instruments, every section of a symphony orchestra is captured in all its aural glory. There will also be a series of workshops with STOMP to join their ranks for a tub thumping experience (see website for details)

For the little ones among the Brighton Dome audience, Horse and Bamboo will present The Nightingale a festive revival told through puppetry, masks animation and performance of Hans Christian Andersons classic fairy tale and a reminder of the true values of the Christmas season (Dec 12 16)

Music fans out there will also be enthralled. We are hosting Katherine Jenkins for a special festive show (Dec 13) as well as the Brighton Gay Mens Chorus (Dec 15), a special Christmas concert of the very best Christmas songs featuring the Brighton Festival Chorus, Brighton Festival Youth Choir andLondon Gala Orchestra (Dec 8) and last but not least a performance from the Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra on New Years Eve.

Theres also the chance to dance at the Christmas Ceilidh (Dec 20) or at our wonderful Brighton Dome tea dance with the Footloose Dance Orchestra which will be followed by afternoon tea (Dec 2).
