The Winter Wonderland Illuminations, Drusillas Park, Alfriston
Until 5 January - Drusillas will be switching on their Winter Wonderland illuminations, designed by Channel 4’s ‘King of Lights’ Paul Toole, plus visit Santa’s Christmas Cottage and your chance to Hug a Husky. 10am to 5pm.

Man crèche, The Hidden Cellar Restaurant
December 22 - Ladies, is he grumpy, constantly moaning about shopping and generally getting under your feet? Drop him off at Hidden Cellar’s free man crèche, where he can enjoy free tea and filter coffee, whilst you enjoy a peaceful morning shopping. Breakfast will be served until 11.30am. He’ll be in safe hands, but please remember to pick him up. 10am to 12pm.

Christmas Day Concert with Eastbourne Silver Band, Redoubt Fortress and Military Museum
25 December - Now a popular and longstanding tradition, Eastbourne Silver Band under the directorship of Geoff Broom will entertain you with 90 minutes of festive tunes on Christmas Day. Come along and join in as locals and holidaymakers alike sing carols and favourite yuletide hits, to the sound of one of Eastbourne’s most prestigious bands. The Outpost Café will be serving hot and cold drinks, including mulled wine. 10.45am to 12.15pm.
