A few good reasons to buy a used car

In built-up places like Brighton, there is very little advantage to purchasing a brand new car. With so few uncongested roads in the south of England – and many other parts of the British Isles, for that matter – a brand new car won’t get you where you are going any faster. Nor will it be any easier to find a car parking space on the road you live on. However, second-hand cars are better in a number of ways. If you are considering buying a car in the near future, why would you opt for a used one rather than a model that has just rolled off the production line?
No Difference In Reliability
Although not all car makers do it, many now offer five and even seven-year warranties on their cars. One of the big plus points of buying new cars is that there used to be a warranty period you would enjoy. However, this is not much of a big deal any more. You can get many of the same benefits if you buy the right sort of used car which still has a valid warranty running.
All cars depreciate - lose value - as they age. Of course, the biggest depreciation drop you will ever see in a car's valuation is the moment you drive it out of a dealership's showroom. In some cases, you don't even need to put many miles on the clock for it to have thousands wiped off its value. A second-hand car will depreciate a little when it changes hands but the effect is much, much less significant.
A Responsible Approach
When you are in the second-hand car market, you are keeping cars going on the road for longer. This means that fewer cars end up being scrapped prematurely, overall. In turn, it means that the carbon that has been used in the car's production is being used to its maximum. While the world transitions to a carbon-free future, it is better to use those resources we have already deployed to their full and not be wasteful. So long at it is reasonably fuel-efficient, buying a second-hand car is an environmentally responsible alternative to purchasing a new car.
If you buy a used car, then you will spend less than you otherwise would have done on new one. Even if you upgrade your car to a superior model, then it is often cheaper to buy a second-hand one. Private sales are a good way to bag a bargain but the best and most cheap ones are always to be found with second-hand dealers. All you need to do is to hunt down a credible used car dealer. KAP Motors is one such dealer. All cars sold at KAP undergo a rigorous pre-inspection criteria to ensure that everything in a car is spick and span before its sold. A variety of brands like Fiat, Peugeot, BMW and Used Nissan Qashqai for sale are available at KAP Motors Brighton Branch. For further details you can call them at 01273 748484 or visit their website.
