When a stubborn young girl enters a shop of clockwork wonders, she soon finds herself lost amongst the Clock Masters stories of magic and music boxes! Of minstrels and monkeys! Of clockwork girls and paper birds! A visually enchanting tale performed with music, animation and moments of puppet-peril!
The Clock Master came to life in 2009 as the groups very first production and since then has won acclaim at the Buxton Fringe Festival, winning an award for Best New Writing as well as being nominated for Best Family Show. The piece not only explores objects and imagery of a clockwork nature, but its critically-acclaimed language plays with rhythms and momentum, creating a clockwork-inspired visual and aural experience that appeals to all ages.
Wonderfully enchanting storytelling and puppetry! The Clock Master stimulates our imagination, moves us and makes us wonder www.remotegoat.co.uk
Having won Arts Council funding, the Sparkle and Dark team will be able to bring this piece of theatre surrounded by fantasy and imagination to the masses and allow more people a chance to see a dying art. For more see www.sparkleanddark.com
