Visit the Interim Table pop-up beach restaurant in Brighton this August

Michelin star chef Chris Bailey will be running two Interim Table pop-up restaurant nights this August in Brighton from the newly opened Lucky Beach Cafe.
On the evenings of August Thursday 8 and August Thursday 15, the café will be swapping their usual burger offering for a shared table, seasonal tasting menu experience influenced by the beach front environment and local coastline.
Starting at 7.30pm with drinks and nibbles, guests will then relax under the stars with seasonal treats including poached lobster, mackerel smoked by the table, cherries, meadowsweet, strawberries and elderflower.

Iced tomato gazpacho essence seasoned with vodka and sherry
Potato skins, whipped cod and pork candy floss
BBQ chicken wings and charcoal dip
Courgette in flower, stuffed with goats curd with Marcona almonds and green olive oil
Mackerel loin - smoked by the table - with plum ketchup, rock samphire and batter bits
Boudin blanc, trout caviar, sea kale pods and coastal herbs
South coast lobster, lettuce gazpacho, purple potatoes, lobster oil and wild pea flowers
Cherry, chocolate, butter roasted peanut and meadowsweet air
Pimm’s jelly, duck egg custard, poached strawberries, elderflower and gin espuma
Dunkin doughnuts and lemon verbena curd
