You might think that it’s terribly traditional in the beautiful West Sussex countryside, but is it? The girls at Lavant House School are busy inventing a new gadget to help users live more healthy lives.

Using Raspberry Pi computers and an entertaining selection of GPIO peripherals (that’s lights, buttons, buzzers, sensors, LED screens and other entertaining bits), they’re squeezing software design, product design, Python coding and testing into their spare time. If you peek into the Computing room you might be surprised by what you see.

They can’t tell you exactly what the plan is, as they’re entering the PA Consulting Raspberry Pi competition and they want to win. Now is not the time to disclose their intellectual property. But you can be sure that it’s new, whizzy, technical and fun.
