Feuding fathers Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg rival each other for ultimate dad status in comedy Daddy’s Home.

Jazz aficionado Brad Taggart (Ferrell) is the cookie cutter stepdad fighting an inferiority complex when bad boy Dusty Mayron (Wahlberg) swoops in to resume parental duties. The opposing duo, (who previously starred together as mismatched cops in the vastly superior The Other Guys), fail to raise any laughs, instead settling for a smattering of barely audible chuckles. Uninspired at every turn, Daddy’s Home is a half-hearted turkey which may cause seasonal blues.

Rating: 2 stars

Cast: Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Linda Cardellini, Hannibal Buress

Release Date: 26th December

Run time: 96 mins

Rating: 12A
