A host of sporting heroes attended the sixth annual Sussex Sports Awards at the Hilton Brighton Metropole to celebrate local sporting achievements across Sussex and to honour the success of Team GB in Beijing.
More than 460 guests attended the glittering evening, hosted by former Sussex cricket captain Chris Adams and Juice FM's Sports Saturday presenter, Tony Marks.
Organised by Sussex County Sports Partnership Trust, the event recognises outstanding achievements and contributions to sport across Sussex - whether from the athletes themselves or
the people behind their success: the clubs, coaches, officials, schools, volunteers and, of course, parents, too.
