We all know and love our Sussex, but there are a few more around the world. Join us on a wander around them…

Sussex, UK

You probably know this one! Take a stroll through Arundel above.

Sussex County, Australia

This area is one of 26 counties located in the state of Western Australia and was named in honour of Prince Augustus Frederick, Duke of Sussex (the ninth child of George III). Take a look around Eagle Bay in Street View.

Sussex, New Brunswick, Canada

This town in the east of Canada was established as such in 1903 and has a population of just over 4,000. It is a major producer of dairy products and even hosts the largest hot air balloon festival on the Canadian Atlantic coast. Queen Elizabeth II visited the opening of a new section to the local elementary school as part of her Golden Jubilee tour in 2002. We’ve dropped you in on the main road.

Sussex Drive, Canada

Located in the Canadian capital Ottawa is Sussex Drive, one of the city’s major ceremonial routes. It’s home to both the Prime Minister (24 Sussex Drive) and the Governor General as well as a number of embassies, including the USA and Japan. Walk down the road on Street View above,

Sussex, New Jersey

The borough of Sussex in Sussex County, New Jersey is named after the one here in the UK. It has a population of 2,000 and is completely surrounded by the township of Wantage making it what they call a pair of ‘doughnut towns’. Take a look around…

Sussex, Wisconsin

Founded by Beckley bricklayer George Elliot (along with Richard Cooling) back in 1843 is this Wisconsin village which covers around 7 square miles of the northern state.
