Paul is well-known for his regular appearances on BBC’s Ready Steady Cook and Masterchef.

During his visit to Hurst Paul worked in the College kitchen for the day and served the school lunch to the pupils and staff.

Paul created a range of salads and dips as part of the healthy lunch and set up a smoothie bar for the Prep School children.

Year 3 were also given a special cooking masterclass where Paul demonstrated how to make quesadillas and a Mexican ‘Salsa Fresca’.

The College’s catering company Sodexo arranged the visit. A spokesperson from the company said: “We take our focus on health and well-being into the classroom and use our relationships with high profile chefs such as Paul Rankin to engage with pupils to make learning about health and well-being fun.”
